• Black-and-white test: Print a mockup at actual size — no color tricks hiding weak contrast or thin strokes.
• Small-size readability: Set a tagline at 12pt on a mobile screen preview. If letters blur or spacing collapses, scale up or reconsider context.
• Uppercase vs. lowercase honesty: Some display fonts look great in caps but fall flat in running text. Prolazy’s lowercase has more charm and nuance — lean into it for quotes or short phrases.
• Spacing audit: Kerned pairs like “To”, “AV”, and “Wa” need manual adjustment in logos. Don’t trust the default.
